"So say your cat leaves a dead mouse on the front steps or worse she trots right up to you and drops a still-wiggling one at your feet. Cats are born to hunt. It's how they feed their kittens so don't scold her. Praise her hunting. Maybe she caught that little rat in your home" suggests the authors of the book.
I like this book because it has a lot of cat facts. For example, did you know that one cat barks like a dog?Or that a group of kittens is called a kindle and a group of adult cats is called a clowder? Or that a cat can be left pawed or right pawed?
I need to go, so goooooooooood bye, but wait before I go, I'm out of kids chapter books to read. So if you have any ideas please comment them in the comment section below. Now it is really time for me to go so goooooooooooood bye. THANKS FOR READING
I'm glad you like that book, Emster! Interesting cat facts I never knew. Here's some suggestions for other books you might like to read, subject to your mom's approval, of course: The Hundred Dresses by Eleanor Estes, The Family Under the Bridge by Natalie Savage Carlson, Crispin The Cross of Lead by Avi, Incident at Hawk's Hill by Allan W. Eckert and Rachel Fields's Hitty Her First Hundred Years which is based on the 1930 Newberry Award Winner of the same name, adapted by Rosemary Wells and Susan Jeffers. Check those out and tell me what you think.
